Interview: TDK Life on Record presents Nas

Wow. Amazing video with Nas being interviews about the times when we used tapes to record all songs on the radio. I still have around 50 tapes at home and I can't wait to buy a tapedeck to play them all. flashback.

Great marketing idea by TDK (Used their tapes all the time)!

"Buffolo Gals" by Malcolm McLaren off of »Duck Rock« released in 1983.
"Buffolo Gals" was the first chart hit which included scratching/cuts. McLaren shot the video together with the Rock Steady Crew, the World Famous Supreme Team and Graffiti-artist Keith Haring.

He died of a rare form of cancer called Mesothelioma, yesterday.
Rest in Peace!

First of all sorry for my late post. I was on a business trip and didn't have a decent internet connection at my hotel and no quality time to do some research.

I got back today and decided to release this song which was supposed to be released on a ATCQ tribute mixtape at www.kevinnottingham.com Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the deadline. However, I think this Full Remake deserves a solo release since Vida Jafari, who sang the chorus, Dj Madsen who produced the beat and me spent hours producing the track. The lyrics were written and performed by Q Tip and the original chorus was sung & written by Vinia Mojica.

Here is the original track:

Verses from the abstract is the bomb! I love Q-Tips flow on this one.

Big shout out to my man Brandon aka Dj Grain at Kevinnottingham.com for hooking me up. Much love for the HUGE pack of Skittles too. Thank you so much homie!
I hope you'll like what you get.

Around this time, Q-Tip converted to Islam and alcohol is forbidden in that religion. Then, he had to talk about something else (clothes) which ended up with the subtitle (Situations). (source unknown)
