Fashion: Ben Drury x Nike “Silent Listener” Air Max 90 Current

London-based artist Ben Drury continues his partnership with Nike, this time developing another shoe with his name attached to it. Dubbed the “Silent Listener”, Drury’s latest design finds inspiration from the City of London, featuring an overall scheme implementing dark color tones, juxtaposed beautifully by the use of a vibrant blue. The “Silent Listener” Air Max 90 Current is slated to drop today, exclusively via Nike Sportswear 1948 in London. Only 125 pairs were produced for this design.

One good looking pair of sneakers with one of my favorite classic color-lines.

Yesterday was my birthday. I had lots of good food, laughs and some drinks. The most beautiful present I got was from my lady. She took these great pictures in St. Petersburg. Then she asked Vera in Moscow to take pictures at the Red Square and she asked Pasha to take pictures in Sortavala at night.
I thank Vera, Pasha, the French legionnaire, the two passers-by, Victoria and her baby who took the pictures and of course Mari for this beautiful present! What a birthday!

today I will start with a new radio show on a local radio station in my home town Leipzig.
Leipzig I can name as the most important “hip hop city” in east Germany. Leipzig has an active scene and nice locations where always concerts take place. For example till end of the year Dj Vadim, Masta Ace, Edo G., Group Home,… will play over here.
But we have no regular hip hop radio show, so I try to change that point.
The show is about the “classics of tomorrow”, so mostly about new releases. But I will also play some classic material from back in the days to “teach” the young generation.

Now here is what I always wanted to post. I love these cups made from a Natural Fiber Composites material which is half wood & half plastics. I use them every day for my coffee, brunch or when I travel. They are light, unbreakable, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe and fully recyclable. After several teasers we can finally give you a detailed look at the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin”. The running sneaker celebrates 20 years of Berlin youth culture.

The city of Berlin, the event and elements of the occasion are all reflected in the sneaker. The Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” comes with a black/grey/purple upper, using premium leather, suede and mesh. Contrasting purple stitching is setting some nice accents on the upper, along with the stylized concrete Swoosh. “Berlin 89″ is stitched onto the heel, and is also communicated with the inner sole and the lace-locks. All in all a very well designed sneaker, celebrating this historic event.

The Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” will be released at select Nike Quickstrike retailers on December 4th, coming in a limited edition of 510 pairs.
