Combining the aesthetics and refinement of Saville Row, Clarks’ 2010 Spring/Summer collection features the use of Fox Brothers, together with some of their most iconic models. Each style’s upper features a chalk stripe flannel created from 100% lambswool, milled by Fox Brothers of Wellington, Somerset. Fox Brothers has maintained a legacy spanning all the way to 1772. Look for the collection to drop next year at select Clarks retailers.Alright, I really like those. Fresh and classy.
London-based artist Ben Drury continues his partnership with Nike, this time developing another shoe with his name attached to it. Dubbed the “Silent Listener”, Drury’s latest design finds inspiration from the City of London, featuring an overall scheme implementing dark color tones, juxtaposed beautifully by the use of a vibrant blue. The “Silent Listener” Air Max 90 Current is slated to drop today, exclusively via Nike Sportswear 1948 in London. Only 125 pairs were produced for this design. One good looking pair of sneakers with one of my favorite classic color-lines.
After several teasers we can finally give you a detailed look at the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin”. The running sneaker celebrates 20 years of Berlin youth culture.
The city of Berlin, the event and elements of the occasion are all reflected in the sneaker. The Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” comes with a black/grey/purple upper, using premium leather, suede and mesh. Contrasting purple stitching is setting some nice accents on the upper, along with the stylized concrete Swoosh. “Berlin 89″ is stitched onto the heel, and is also communicated with the inner sole and the lace-locks. All in all a very well designed sneaker, celebrating this historic event.
The Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” will be released at select Nike Quickstrike retailers on December 4th, coming in a limited edition of 510 pairs.
