I still can't believe it. Guru was like a ... it's so difficult to describe but one thing is for sure, I became who I am today also thanks to Guru's music. A legend has left us and he will be truly missed by millions of fans throughout the world. Love

"Buffolo Gals" by Malcolm McLaren off of »Duck Rock« released in 1983.
"Buffolo Gals" was the first chart hit which included scratching/cuts. McLaren shot the video together with the Rock Steady Crew, the World Famous Supreme Team and Graffiti-artist Keith Haring.

He died of a rare form of cancer called Mesothelioma, yesterday.
Rest in Peace!

This video is by Mayer Hawthorne. I was lucky to skate on Pier 7 before they blocked the curbs. That was back in 1998 or 1999. I remember, i bought an expedition board and went to check the spot and I saw Karl Watson, a legendary skateboarder.

Great picture, amazing song! I met Miles Bonny when I was a young back in 2002 (I just said hello because he knew my friends but I did not know who he was). I remember one song from his crew which I loved to listen to. The song title was "Peter Pan" by Sounds Good. Anyway, Dope music in the making right there. I also met Suff Deezy virtually on MySpace two years ago and the brother is cool. Support good music and the Berlin - Kansas City connection!
